Bolognese with Campanelle...
Sounds fancy right? Not so much- translation...its basically pasta w/ meat sauce...
I took a pounds of lean (96/4 because we are watching what we eat)....put in a big pan w/ a tad bit of olive oil and garlic.....added a can of tomato puree right away...then added a lil brown sugar, onion powder (you can add real onions if you like too, i hate them though, LOL)....basil, salt and pepper.....
Then start breaking the meat up (use a spoon or spatula...something to break it up)...cover and let it cook...stir every 10 minutes...should cook in about 45 minutes or so....
serve over your favorite pasta and add a lil romano cheese if you'd like on the top...it was delish!!!
